Hours:        22.5 hours per week | Monday–Friday 
Salary:       £13,296.37 per annum (not pro rata)
Contract:   Permanent | Term Time Only
Start:          September 2026

About the Role

We are seeking a part time administrator to provide high-quality administrative and organisational support to our SENDCo and Inclusion Team. This is a key role at the heart of our provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive.

What you will be doing

  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the SENDCo and Inclusion Team
  • Maintain and update the SEND register and pupil files in line with GDPR requirements
  • Coordinate annual reviews, meetings and assessments for pupils with EHCPs and SEN Support
  • Prepare and distribute agendas, paperwork and minutes for SEND-related meetings
  • Organise specialist interventions, assessments and visits from external professionals
  • Ensure SEND records and documentation are accurate, secure and compliant with statutory deadlines
  • Act as a professional, sensitive first point of contact for SEND queries from families, staff and external agencies
  • Support wider admin and inclusion teams by maintaining resources, filing systems and a welcoming environment for pupils and families

What We’re Looking For

  • GCSE C/ level 4 or equivalent required 
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • A strong communicator who can handle sensitive information with professionalism
  • Confident using digital systems and managing data
  • Passionate about inclusion and improving outcomes for children with SEND
  • Driving licence required

Belmont Secondary School is an independent specialist school in Rawtenstall for boys aged 11–18 with SEMH needs, easily commutable from Bury, Burnley and surrounding areas.
