As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced and commercially minded Head of Commercial & Partnerships to help shape our future growth strategy, develop key partnerships and expand our reach across education, health and children's services.

About the Role

This is a pivotal leadership opportunity within Momenta Connect, responsible for driving commercial growth, developing strategic partnerships and identifying new opportunities across the education, SEND, healthcare and wider public sector landscape.

Working closely with operational and clinical leaders, you'll lead business development activity nationally, build trusted relationships with commissioners and education leaders, and help ensure our services reach more children and young people who need them most.

We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and is passionate about creating partnerships that deliver both commercial success and meaningful social impact.

  • Identify opportunities across Local Authorities, Multi-Academy Trusts, schools, NHS organisations and private markets.
  • Lead national business development activity and secure new contracts, partnerships and framework agreements.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with commissioners, education leaders and strategic partners.
  • Represent Momenta Connect at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions.
  • Drive sustainable revenue growth and commercial performance.
  • Monitor pipelines, forecasting, KPIs and commercial reporting.
  • Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing commercial and business development team.
  • Work collaboratively with operational, clinical and central support functions to support organisational growth.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential

  • Significant experience within a senior commercial, partnerships or business development leadership role.
  • Proven track record of delivering sustainable revenue growth.
  • Experience developing strategic partnerships within education, healthcare, children's services or wider public sector environments.
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement and commissioning processes.
  • Experience leading and developing business development teams.
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong commercial, financial and analytical capability.
  • Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders both internally and externally.

Desirable

  • Experience within SEND, education, clinical services or therapeutic provision.
  • Knowledge of alternative provision, attendance support, educational psychology or multidisciplinary services.
  • Experience working within a fast-growing or private equity-backed organisation.
  • Existing network across Local Authorities, education or healthcare sectors.
